Heartopia auto piano guide: installation to your first song

Things to know
- DreamLyra controls the game instrument through keyboard input; the game produces the sound.
- If prompted to switch to the game, return to its instrument screen and press F8.
- If the app reports that the game has higher privileges than DreamLyra (for example, because a system service started the game), restart the game normally.
First performance questions
No sound after installation?
DreamLyra turns MIDI into keystrokes; it does not output audio. Sound comes from the game. Open the game instrument screen, check the game volume, and verify the key profile.
F8 does nothing?
Check that DreamLyra is open, your trial or license is active, and a MIDI file is loaded. In MIDI file mode, F8 pauses or resumes playback. In creator mode, F8 starts or stops recording. Check whether another app uses F8.
The game does not respond to playback?
Set a 3- or 5-second start delay. Press play and return to the game instrument screen before the countdown ends. Keep the game in the foreground. If prompted to switch to the game, return to the instrument screen before pressing F8.
