Steadier updates, works with a wrong clock, and .NET 10

v4.3.0
Your license, trial and credit top-ups now work normally even when your computer clock is wrong, as long as you are online, and store recommendations still appear. Some important announcements now show again on your first launch each day; once you close them, they stay closed for the rest of the day. In-app updates are steadier: when you update from 4.3.0 to a later version, a small Updating DreamLyra window appears while files are replaced, low disk space tells you how much to free up, and a failed update shows a report code that support can use to help find the cause. If an update is interrupted after all files were already replaced, DreamLyra finishes it the next time it opens; otherwise, reinstalling with the installer from the website repairs it automatically. After an update, DreamLyra anonymously reports the result. It sends only the versions, how the update ran and its result, error details (the step it stopped at and any program files it could not put back), the report code, when it happened, the Windows version and antivirus product names; it sends no license key or computer ID, and the server does not keep IP addresses. The bundled runtime is now .NET 10, with security updates until 2028, and the update and installer files are a little smaller. If DreamLyra is still open when you run the installer, it asks you to close DreamLyra and click Retry. DreamLyra also uses fewer background connections; announcements and the store work as before. On most computers, the DreamLyra version shown in Windows Settings → Apps now follows in-app updates. Song purchase messages such as license required, not enough credits or no connection now appear in your interface language. During an update, DreamLyra closes and reopens by itself after about a minute; please do not open it yourself or shut down the computer in the meantime. Existing licenses, purchased songs, and personal settings are preserved.

Quick start tutorial, Where Winds Meet layout and download progress

v4.2.3
New players now get a quick start tutorial with a Canon in their library that walks them step by step to playing their first song in a game; it can be skipped and replayed from How to Use. Added a built-in 36-key layout for Where Winds Meet, and the NTE 36-key piano layout now covers 57 notes; unmodified layouts update automatically. The download screen after buying songs now shows a step-by-step progress bar. The bottom of My Library now has a Load song button, and the start delay is remembered. Fixed missing notes when a sharp or flat shares a key with the natural note. When license verification fails, DreamLyra shows the actual reason, including how to fix a wrong computer clock, and opening the Online Music Hub right after launch waits until the license check finishes. Store language filters follow your interface language, and the installer has a dark look and supports 6 languages. Store covers are refreshed with new illustrations that vary by category, and some songs now have their own cover. The trial now needs a connection each time it starts. The bundled .NET runtime is updated with the latest security fixes. Existing licenses, purchased songs, and personal settings are preserved.

Administrator startup restored

v4.2.2
Restored startup as administrator by default to support sending keystrokes to games. Fixed startup permissions after installation. Existing licenses, purchased songs, and personal settings are preserved.

Song pricing and license fixes

v4.2.1

Improved license connection timeout handling and license recovery after correcting your computer clock. Existing licenses, purchased songs, and personal settings are preserved.

A guided welcome to the store

v4.2.0
A new 10-step tour introduces music discovery, search and filters, your wishlist, library and credit top-ups. It opens on your first visit, remembers when you finish or skip, and can be replayed from the lower-left store guide. License-data error handling and reverification messages have also been improved.

Store loading fix

v4.1.1
Fixed songs and credits not loading in the store. Includes account, download, and update security improvements, plus clearer announcements and feature hints. Use version 4.1.1 or later for store purchases and downloads.

Safer, smoother everyday use

v4.1.0
Improved account, song download, and update security. Fixed store feature hints and announcements, with clearer text in small windows. Store purchases and downloads require version 4.1.0 or later.
